Goddess Kshemankari Form of Durga

Goddess Kshemankari is one of the nine different forms of Durga mentioned in the Agamas. This form of Mother Goddess Shakti is capable of giving health.

Goddess Kshemankari is four armed. Her one hand is in Varada posture. The remaining three hands carry trishula, padma and drinking vessel.


But there are some images of the Goddess depicting her with 10-arms

In some images one can see her with two lions near her feet.

Exclusive temples dedicated to Goddess Kshemankari Form existed during ancient times. Today, there are no well known temples dedicated to this form of Durga.

One can find murtis of Goddess Kshemankari in many museums in North India.
