Akhandananda Saraswati (1911–1987) was
a great exponent of Srimad Bhagavad Purana. He also taught Vedanta and
explored the world of Bhakti.
As per astrologers Sri Akhandananda Saraswati was destined to
die at the age of 19 but his unwavering devotion saw him overcoming it.
He established the famous Anand Vrindavan Ashram.

Shravan Amavasya Tithi or the no moon day in Shravan month as per traditional
