Goddess Bhaumeshwari is the mother of Mangal Grah (Mars) one
of the Navgrahas. Some people consider her as a manifestation of Mother Goddess
Shakti. Some consider her to be a manifestation of Mother Earth.
Mangal Grah was born when Shiva was fighting Antakasur. A
drop of sweat from Shiva that fell on earth gave birth to Mangal. Thus
Bhaumeshwari is another for Mother Earth.
