Teen Mukhi Rudraksha – Importance of Three Face Rudraksha

Teen mukhi rudraksha is the one with three face and is found in round in shape and is bit bigger than the two face Rudraksh. Teen Mukhi Rudraksha is believed to be the manifestation of Agni, the Hindu God of fire. It is worn or worshipped mainly to overcome diseases.

Story of Jyotirling – The Story of Jyotirlinga Temples

Shiva is believed to have appeared in the form of Jyotirling. There are twelve Jyotirlinga Temples in India. The story of Jyotirling is associated with Brahma and Bhagvan Vishnu entering into an argument.
Legend has it that Bhagvan Vishnu and Brahmaji wanted to know who was superior and this led to a fight. Mahadev Shiva intervened and said whoever can find out the origin or end of Shivling is superior. Shiva appeared before them in the form of a huge pillar of fire. This huge pillar of fire is referred as Jyotirling. This day of the appearance of Shiva in the Jyotirling form is celebrated as Shivratri.
The story states Vishnu went down searching for the end of column of fire and Brahma went up searching. Both traveled and traveled but never reached the beginning or end.
It is impossible to find a beginning and end to the Supreme Being until and unless the Supreme Being wishes to incarnate in a form which human eyes can accommodate.

Shivaji Rajyabhishek Date – Shivaji Rajyabhishek or Coronation as Per Hindu Tithi

Shivaji Rajyabhishek is the coronation of the great Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The Shivaji Rajyabhishek Date is June 6, 1674. As per Hindu Tithi the coronation took place on the 13th day during the waxing phase of moon in Jyeshta month (Shukla Paksha Trayodasi Tithi as per Marathi Calendar). In 2018, the date is on June 26.

Shivaji Maharaj was crowned the king of Marathas on the day. The huge and lavish ceremony was held at Raigad. Water from seven sacred rivers – Yamuna, Indus, Ganga, Godavari, Krishna and Kaveri – was placed on a gold vessel above the head of Shivaji Maharaj.
Shivaji was given the title Shakakarta and Kshatriya Kulavantas and Chhatrapati.
Shivaji’s mother Jijabai died on June 18, 1674, soon after the coronation.
So as per astrologers another coronation was held on September 24, 1674.
