Ashtadasha Puranas are the 18 important Puranas associated
with Hindu Religion. There is a shloka which gives the first syllable of the
name of each Purana. It is known as Ashtadasha Purana Shloka.

Note – Shiva Purana is not considered as a part of Ashtadasha
Puranas in some texts because it is considered as part of Linga Purana.
Note – In many modern list of Puranas Vayu Purana is
replaced by Shiva Purana.
