Devotees from Gujarat to Travel to Hinglaj Mata Temple in Pakistan to Bring Eternal Flame

Hinglaj Mata Temple located at Balochistan in Pakistan is one of the important temples dedicated to Mother Goddess Shakti – it is one among the 52 Shaktipeetahs. Hinglaj Mata devotees from Gujarat will be traveling to bring eternal flame from the Hinglaj Mata Temple in February 2014. Gujarat devotees are planning to build a shrine dedicated to Hinglaj Mata Temple in Verad village of Bhanvad taluka in Jamnagar . The eternal jyoti that is lit in the Hinglaj Mata Temple is highly meritorious and the people are planning to light a lamp from the jyoti and bring it to the new temple. Times of India reports  "It is amongst one of the 52 Shakti Peeths of goddess Sati. We want to bring the 'jyot' from her temple and place it at Hinglaj temple in Verad village of Bhanvad taluka in Jamnagar . We have urged the followers of the deity from Saurashtra and Kutch to join us on our tour," said P P Bhalodiya, a member of Shree Hinglaj Mata Mandir Trust
