Ashtadasa Bhuja Mahalakshmi Durga Temple at Kurichi houses a very rare murti of Goddess Durga. The murti here is made of Navapashana – containing 9 herbal ingredients. The murti worshipped in the temple has 18 hands (ashtadasaujam). It is seated on a lion and is 12 feet tall.
