When Chaturthi or fourth day during the Krishna Paksha (dark phase or waning phase of moon) as per traditional Hindu Calendar is observed as Sankashti Chaturthi. Sankashta or Sankatahara Chaturti, is one of the most auspicious dedicated to Hindu God Ganesha, when the day falls on Tuesday it is known as Angarak Sankashti Chaturthi.
