There is a belief that for getting from redemption one only needs to go to Ahobhilam – a sacred place associated with Narasimha incarnation of Vishnu. It is also said that listening to the story of Narasimha is greater than visiting sacred places and offering 1000 cows with horns tipped with gold.
But listening to the story of Narasimha on a full moon day or a new moon day is superior to this. Gayaand Kasi. But all this is not needed, if one goes to Ahobilam, abode of Lord Narasimha, said Kidambi Narayanan. A day in Ahobilam is equal to many years of visit to other places.
