Abhimanyu is the 16-year-old warrior in the Mahabharata who
fought on the side of the Pandavas and laid his life in the great Kurukshetra
war in the Mahabharata. Mother of Abhimanyu is Subhadra. Who is Subhadra? Subhadra
is the sister of Sri Krishna and wife of Arjuna. Thus Abhimanyu is the son of
Arjuna and Subhadra.
Abhimanyu who fought valiantly entered the Chakravyuha
formation set by the Kauravas. But he only knew how to enter Chakravyuha but
did not possess the knowledge to exit. Thus he was killed by Jayadrada.
