How to apply for Amarnath Yatra in 2013?

Devotees can apply for Amarnath Yatra from March 18, 2013. Below are the details for applying for the yatra in 2013. The annual Amarnath Yatra to the renowned cave shrine in Jammu and Kashmir attracts thousands of people. The cave shrine is noted for the formation of a natural Shiva Lingam. The natural ‘ice lingam’ is formed by the ice droplets from the rooftop of the vast cave.

Amarnath Yatra in 2013 will commence from June 28, 2013 and will end on August 21, 2013.

All Indian citizens aged between 13 and 75 can participate in the Amarnath Yatra in 2013.

You need to apply through prescribed form to banks (Registration centers) deputed for the purpose by the Amarnath Yatra Shrine Board. There is a provision to select the individual Yatra dates in the application form.

You will also need to submit separate compulsory health certificate.

There was online registration last year but nothing regarding it has been announced in 2013.
