Goddess Vira Lakshmi

Vira Lakshmi is a manifestation of Goddess Lakshmi. She is the Goddess who provides strength to face enemies. There are many texts that identify Goddess Vaishno Devi with Vira Lakshmi. This form is also counted among one of the Ashtalakshmis in some regions.
The murti form of Vira Lakshmi is quite similar to Goddess Durga. She rides a lion holds various arms like Trishul, sword and mace.
The offerings to Goddess Vira Lakshmi are pure vegetarian food items. She is never offered non vegetarian food items.
The most popular story of Goddess Vira Lakshmi has Her fighting a sorcerer Bhairo, who attempted to molest her. This story symbolically suggests the need for women to be physically strong and to fight back when she is attacked.

To grow does not mean that you think too much of yourself – Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev

Only when you are in touch with the innermost core of who you are, you live a complete life.
If you try and fight with desires and passions, if you chop desires and passions, they will spill blood, and with every drop, a hundred or a thousand will come up. There is no point fighting desires and passions. Just educate your passions, educate your desires to flow in the right direction, that is all. You can never fight them. Fighting them will be futile, it will be a waste of life.
The bitterness of any experience is not in what has happened. The bitterness of any experience is in terms of how you have received it. What is very bitter for one person could be a blessing for another person.
To grow does not mean that you think too much of yourself. Growth is dissolution.
