The root of ignorance is the idea that a person is separate
from God…Ignorance conceals the existent knowledge just as weeds cover the
surface of a pond. Clean the weeds and you have the water…
God is not imprisoned or caged within the four walls of
temples or other religious places. He fills the universe and lives in devotees’
hearts…
Joy and sorrow are mere delusion. Mere appearance of worldly
joy is not true happiness. The worldly man is forcibly drawn to it, as he
believes it to be true happiness.
Work without desire purifies the mind and creates a desire
for knowledge. Reasoning with the help of scriptures produces theoretical
knowledge and meditation converts that knowledge into practical wisdom.
