Narasimha Temple at Balapet in Bangalore – Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple

Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple located at Balapet in Bangalore is dedicated to Hindu God Narasimha, an incarnation of Vishnu. The murti installed at the temple is known as Shri Prasanna Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. The murti is more than 3 feet in height and is made of Shaligram Stone. The murti has four hands and holds Shankh and chakra. One hand is holding Goddess Lakshmi and the other hand is in abhayahastha. Murti of Garuda is also part of the main murti.

Morning 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Evening 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Location
The temple is located about 1 km from the Bangalore city center (Kempe Gowda Main Bus Stand). 

The most important festival at the temple is the Narasimha Jayanti in May month.
