A popular prayer dedicated to Hindu God Shiva, Om Jai Shiv
Omkara is chanted during morning and evening prayers at home and in temples.
The prayer begins with the lines om jai shiv omkara and extols the glory of
Shiva. It is a popular bhajan sang on Pradosh Vrat, evening Shiv Arati, Shiv Trayodasi and during Shivratri.
