Lunar Eclipse December 2011 Time in Mumbai – Pune – Chandra Grahan Time in Maharashtra on December 10

A Total lunar eclipse, or Chandra Grahan, will be visible in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur and other parts of Maharashtra on December 10, 2011. It is from evening to night of December 10. The time of Chandra Grahan is from 6:16 PM to 9:48 PM on December 10, 2011 – as per Indian standard time. The time is same in all parts of Maharashtra. Hindu Panchangs have marked this grahan on December 10 and therefore those observing fasting and rituals have to follow them.

Total Lunar Eclipse begins at 7:36 PM on December 10

Grahan Moksha kaal or eclipse ends at 9:48 PM on December 10

The Chandra Grahan time is the same in all parts of Maharashtra.

    If you still feel insecure you can stay indoors. Finish all activities before 7:00 PM on June 15.

  6. @ drink water...If your family follows rituals of Grahan then the fast starts before 9 hours the Grahan starts.

    If your family does not follow the rituals then you can drink water and eat etc.

  7. Realcute...No pregnant women should not fast during Grahan time. You can have your normal routine.

    Mostly elders suggest to stay indoors during Grahan.

  10. You people are all crazy!!.... Go out and enjoy the lunar eclipse!!... it doesn't happen very often so when it does, make the most of it and see it!!... all you religious fanatics... RELAX and forget about what and what not to eat and whether or not you should let the light fall on you!! Geez!... wake up and live in the 21st Century!!!!

  12. seriously guys !! stop being superstitious !! a lunar eclipse is one of the most fascinating phenomenon in astronomy ! pregnancy on the other hand is another great gift of nature.. the 2 are not even remotely related ! enjoy yourself and watch the eclipse !
