Kartik Maas, or Kartkam Month, is the first month in a traditional Gujarati calendar followed in GujaratIndia. Kartik Month 2013 in Gujarati Calendar begins on November 4 to December 2   As per Vikram Samvat calendar, the Vikram Year 2070 begins on the first day of Kartik month. Gujarati New Year is marked on November 4.
