Bhadrapada Masa 2015 – Telugu Bhadrapad Month in Andhra Pradesh in 2015



Bhadrapada Masa is the sixth month in a traditional Hindu Telugu calendar followed in Andhra Pradesh. Telugu Bhadrapad Masam 2015 is from September 14 to October 12.  Some of the auspicious days in the month include Vinayaka Chavithi or Ganesh Chaturthi, Swarna Gouri Vratam, Rishi Panchami, Jyeshta Devi Puja, Ananta Chaturdashi and Proshtapadi Shraddha.

Some Hindu communities perform Tarpan and Shradh for dead parents and relatives during the Mahalaya Krishna Paksha period of Bhadrapada month (September 28 to October 12).

Both Purnima Shradh and Pratipada Shradh are observed on the day. The day is also observed as Proshtapadi Shraddha.
