Mangaidevi Yatra

Mangaidevi Yatra is pilgrimage and festival at Goddess Mangaidevi temples located in parts of Karnataka and Maharashtra. Mangaidevi Yatra 2010 date is August 3. Goddess Mangaidevi is an incarnation of Goddess Shakti and is worshipped by certain Hindu communities. The Goddess is also a family deity.

Large number of people participate in Mangaidevi Yatra which is mainly held in Belgaum District in Karnataka. The ritual is observed on the eighth day during the Krishna Paksha or waning phase of moon as per traditional calendars followed in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
