Usually during a Chandra Grahan, a fast (Upvaas) is observed by certain communities in Hindu religion. The fast begins about 9 hours before the beginning of Chandra Grahan.
People also take a bath in cold water and chant mantras dedicated to Lord Vishnu or Shiva like the Ashtakshara Mantra or Mrityunjaya Mantra. This is done whenever Surya and Chandra are under the influence of Rahu. Pregnant women chant the Santana Gopala Mantra.

You don't need to worry about this Grahn. if your are so much concerned then stay indoors during the period.

No you don't need to anything for this Grahan. It is only applicable in regions where it is visible.

If i am right, Pregnant women should not come
out of their room , and the room should be completely closed.. no windows should be open.
and very importantly she should not see the eclipse, wheter solar or lunar...
inside the room she should chant Santhana gopala mantra or any krishna related slogams.
most importantly she shold not cut any thing during the eclipse time..(like vegetables or papers etc.)...comes to eating..she can eat sweets and can consume milk...
