Purnima is the full moon day in a traditional Hindu calendar and is considered auspicious for performing rituals and fasts. In 2010 November, Purnima date is November 21. This Poornima is also known as Kartik Purnima and Tripurari Poornima. In some regions the day is also observed as Dev Diwali and the Tulsi Vivah Puja and rituals end on the day.
