National Youth Day Documentary Film Competition by Sri Ramakrishna Math Chennai

Sri Ramakrishna Math Chennai and Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Mylapore, Chennai, is conducting a National Youth Day 2010 Documentary Film Competition for students and youth below 30 years of age. The documentary can be in Tamil or English. The film should be of 15-minute duration and should be in DVD/Mpeg 2 format.

The Topics for the Documentary Film Competition are:

Swami Vivekananda and the regeneration of India

Swami Vivekananda for youth

Swami Vivekananda and the ideal of service

The first prize winner will receive Rs 50000/-, the two second prize winners will receive Rs 25000/- each, four third prize winners will get Rs 10000/- each. All participants will also receive an e-book on Swami Vivekananda Life, Work and Research.

There is no entry fee. The Ramakrishna Math will receive the copyrights of all films received for the competition.

The last day of receiving films for competition is December 15, 2009. Prize to the winners will be distributed on National Youth Day on January 12, 2010.
