Thanks for the information...

Indian Railways never put special trains on official site. But you can book tickets using the train numbers at reservation counters at stations. I have not tried the IRCTC site online booking.

We would have felt comfortable if Indian Railways had given a Puja Special from Hwh / Sdah to Jammu
as there is no any train apart from Himgiri an Jammu Tawi

Absolutely stunned that the Puja Special announced from Hyderabad to Howrah is starting om Monday, while the major rush is on Saturday and Sunday. Even the train would start at 21st Spetember, night and reach Howrah on 23rd morning. 2 days of leave would be lost and in the transit another 3 days.
It seems no attention has been given fro the passengers from AP wanting to meet their family at Kolkata.

I think there should be a puja special atleast between Rourkela and New delhi. The other two trains running presently through Rourkela are over booked. So not a bad idea if a puja special is announced from rourkela to delhi via hatia kanpur.

Please provide couple of special trains in Howrah Bangalore Howrah route. Only 2 trains that are there (YPR HWH and DURONTO) are over booked. Very inconvenient for passengers who are planning to travel before and after Durga Puja.

no trains on nagpur howrah route

Route between Rourkela and Howrah is now spoilt owing to night running restriction. There are now either very long distance trains arriving as per time table early morning in which one cannot get reservations or the delayed trains which are overdue from previous evening and for which there are no scheduled arrival/departure times in the early morning. Alltrains are now bunched up in the morning. Last train Ispat is open for reservation only 10 days prior. Please introduce other Puja Specials departing Rourkela say between 9AM to 12 PM.
