Special Trains during Navratri and Dasara 2009 by Indian Railways – Hyderabad and Secunderabad

South Central Railway of Indian Railways has announced special trains for Navratri and Dasara festival in 2009. The special 2009 Navaratri and Dussehra trains are from Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Patna, Guntur, Tirupati, Allahabad, Kakinada, Vishakapatnam and Rajahmundry.

This article is to provide some basic information on the special trains during Navratri and Dasara as found in press release of Indian Railway. Please use the train numbers to find the current information at the Reservation counter in Railway Stations

Time and date mentioned is as per Indian standard time.

Train No 771/772 Secunderabad – Patna Weekly Special

Train No.771 Secunderabad – Patna Weekly Special will depart from Secunderabad on every Tuesday (September 15, 22, 29, October 6, 13) at 10:00 pm and arrive at Patna at 09:50 am on Thursday.

Train No.771 Patna-Secunderabad Weekly Special will depart from Patna at will leave Patna on every Thursday (September 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15) at 04:30 pm and reach Secunderabad at 03.45 pm on Saturday.

Train No 771/772 Secunderabad – Patna Weekly Special will halt at Kazipet, Manchiryal, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur

Train No. 700/701 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Special

Train No.700 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town Special train will depart Secunderabad on 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th September, 2009 at 11:00 PM and arrive at Kakinada Town at 08:50 AM on the next day.

Train No.701 Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Special train will depart from Kakinada Town on 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th September, 2009 at 09:00 PM and arrive Secunderabad at 08:00 AM the next day.

The train will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and Samalkot stations in both the directions.

The train consists of one AC 2 Tier, one AC 3 Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and 2 Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van coaches.

Train No.0748/0747 Hyderabad – Vishakapatnam – Hyderabad Special

Train No.0748 Hyderabad – Vishakapatnam Special train will depart Hyderabad on 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th September, 2009 at 07:30 PM. The train will arrive at 07:50 PM at Secunderabad and depart at 08:00 PM. The train will arrive at Vishakapatnam at 08:30 AM the next day.

Train No.0747 Vishakapatnam – Hyderabad Special train will depart Vishakapatnam on 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th September, 2009 at 07:10 PM arrive at Secunderabad at 08:15 AM the next day and depart Secunderabad at 08:25 AM and arrive Hyderabad at 08:50 AM.

The train will also stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

The train consists of one AC 2 Tier, one AC 3 Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and 2 Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van coaches.

Train No. 713 Guntur-Secunderabad Weekly Special

Train No. 713 Guntur-Secunderabad Weekly Special will depart from Guntur on Sundays (September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18) and reach Secunderabad at 4.30 pm on the next day.

Train No. 713 Guntur-Secunderabad Weekly Special will stop at at Vijayawada, Khammam, Mahaboobabad, Warangal and Kazipet stations.

Train No. 750 Tirupati-Allahabad Special

Train No. 750 Tirupati-Allahabad Special will depart from Tirupati on September 10 at 12:45 pm and arrive at Allahabad at 12:55 pm on the next day.

The train will stop at Srikalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Ramagundam, Manchiryal, Bellampalli, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni and Satna.

Train No. 709 Secunderabad-Tirupati Special

Train No. 709 Secunderabad-Tirupati Special will leave Secunderabad on Oct 12 at 8.30 pm and reach Tirupati at 8.50 am on the next day.

The train will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta.

Train No.0715 Secunderabad – Rajahmundry Special

Train No.0715 Secunderabad – Rajahmundry Special train will depart Secunderabad on 5th, 12th 19th and 26th September, 2009 at 11:00 PM and arrive Rajahmundry at 08:10 AM the next day.

The train will stop at will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Vijaawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem and Nidadavolu Stations.

The train consists of one AC 2 Tier, one AC 3 Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and 2 Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van coaches.
