As per the North Indian calendar and Bengali calendar the Suryagrahan will be taking place on the Amavasi day in the Shravan month. In Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh it is the Ashada Amavasi. In Tamil Nadu, it is the Aadi month.
