Registration for Amarnath Yatra 2011 is from May 10, 2011 and is through the branches of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank Limited, 24 branches of the Yes Bank and 4 Bihar Central Co-operative Branches in India

The annual Amarnath Yatra is undertaken by thousands of devotees to the world famous cave shrine in Himalayas in Jammu and Kashmir State of India. The cave shrine is noted for the formation of a natural Shiva Lingam. The natural ‘ice lingam’ is formed by the ice droplets from the rooftop of the vast cave. It is a difficult journey and involves trekking at high altitude.We will update more about registration as the process begins.

@Savan as the blog has written, you need to register and it is through the J & K bank. Route and such details u will get while registration.
I visited J&K bank official web site but could not find any information regarding the Amarnath Yatra. Could you please tell where do i find the information on the J&K site?

Earlier it was published in Indore's denik bhaskar newpaper that AMARNATH YATRA will commence from 1st june onwards, hence we booked our ticker on 27 june, but now date of yatra has been finalised as 1st july. as we people are reaching by 27 june @ pahalgaun.
Can we start yatra thro pahalgaun by 28 june.?
is this possible as media is showing 1st jhattha to AMARNATH gone in first week of june 2010.

The online registration has started at the official website of the bank from June 7

I have done registration just now.payment through netbanking.rs 15/ per person.WE will catch poorva exp on 25th of july.my schedule is to start from chandanbari from 29th.
