Jyeshta Month in 2010 – Jyeshta Mahina in Traditional North Indian Calendar

In 2010, Jyeshta Month begins (date) on May 28 and ends on June 26. Jyeshta Month, or Jyeshta Maas, is the third month in the traditional Hindu calendar followed in North India – especially in Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. The month falls during the peak summer season. Shani Jayanti and Nirjala Ekadasi are some of the most important auspicious days in the month.

Jyeshta Mahina Krishna Paksha is from May 28 to June 12, 2010.

Jyeshta Mahina Shukla Paksha is from June 13 to June 26, 2010.

The current Vikram Samvat year in traditional North Indian calendar is 2067.

Other auspicious days in the month are Apara Ekadasi, Savitri Amavasi, Vat Puja, Ganga Dusshera and Aranya Shasti.

It must be noted here that Jyeshta month in calendars followed in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat begins on June 13, 2010 and ends on July 11.

Can anyone please tell me when is the jyeshtha maas in year 2010? Its urgent....Mymarriage dates are not getting fixed because of that
