Guru Pushya Yog is a highly auspicious day as per Hindu astrology. Guru Pushya Yog is observed when Pushya Nakshatra falls on a Thursday or Guruvar. Guru Pushya is auspicious to perform new beginnings or any sadhana as there is no need to look for a muhurat or mahurut. Each moment on the day is auspicious and astrologically, it is is supposed to be a thousand times more powerful. There is a Gurupushyamrut Yog on December 23, 2010. Timing is from 13:51 hrs to 21:12 hrs.
The day is chosen by many Hindus in North India to conduct auspicious ceremonies, housewarming, marriage etc. The day is also chosen to invest in gold, property and real estate.

It would be also beneficial to specify the correct period i.e. time of the day during Guru pushya yog ( though the entire day is said to be auspicious).
The entire period is beneficial...means the entire day of pushya nakshatra...usually people don't look for correct period....the entire period of Pushya or day of pushya varies from region to region and this is best found in the regional panchang.
what is excatly right time of Gurupushya on 30 th april 2009 ?
Actually as per the panchang main yog of Gurupushya is at 25.54 to 29.15 that means 30.04.09 thursday's midnight 2 to 6.15 am { fridays suryodaya ) is that right ?

I am not aware of any Guru pushya on June 19th...You can choose June 25th as it is a Guru pushya yog date...

Usually, panchangams calculate it differently for US etc...so it should happen on Wednesday night we feel
