Yamunotri Temple 2010 Opening and Closing Dates – Visiting Period



Yamunotri Temple is part of the Char Dham Yatra (pilgrimage) in Uttarakhand, India. In 2010, the date of Yamunotri Temple reopening is May 16 – the Akshaya Tritiya Dy. Yamunotri temple will close after Diwali – November 7, 2010. The four holy shrines remain closed during the harsh winter season from October to April due to heavy snowfall.
