Indian Railway Announces Special Sabarimala Spiritual Package

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the tourism arm of the Railways, has launched a special package for pilgrims to the famous Sabarimala Ayyappa temple in 2008. IRCTC operates Sabarimala package from Bangalore, Chennai, Mangalore, Kozhikode and Kannur. The three-night package includes confirmed accommodation on trains, food and road transport and hall accommodation.

The cost of the package varies from Rupees 1,800 to 2,500. The package is available till January 12, 2009.
