Dear sir,

I am from South India, I am interested in performing the Diwali Lakshmi pooja. This is the first time I am going to perform this pooja. It would be greatful for me if you can tell me at what time should I perform this pooja, because I am confused about the muhurthas.

In South India, people do puja during morning or evening. They only do not perform puja during the Rahu Kalam period. So you can perform the puja any convenient time you need. Best time or muhurats etc are followed by those people who are too much into astrology.

There are millions of Hindus who perform puja at a convenient time on the Diwali day.
