Karkidakam month (July – August) in Kerala is observed as Ramayana Masam in Kerala. Each day in the month is dedicated to the reading of the epic Ramayan. The reading is scheduled in such a way that the entire Ramayanam is read by the last day of the Karkidakam month. The Ramayanam that is read during the month is the Malayalam version of Adhyatma Ramayanam by Thunchathu Ramanujan Ezhutthachan
Now you can download the reading of the complete Adhyatma Ramayanam of Thunchathu Ramanujan Ezhutthassan at the website Guruvayoor.com. The audio book is around 22 hours in length and is in MP3 format and is rendered by Dr. A.P.Sukumar. The Ramayana reading is broken into small MP3 files of various sizes.
There is also a jpeg format of the Ramayana text in Malayalam too on the website. You can also listen to Ramayanam reading online. It is an old website and does not support Firefox or other latest browsers. You will need Internet Explorer.
