The registration of devotees for the
Amarnath Yatra 2008 has started across the country. The annual Yatra this year will commence on June 18 and will end on August 18. Devotees can register themselves at 80 different branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank. The annual Yatra to
Baba Amarnath Holy Cave is to have a glimpse of the naturally formed Ice Shivalingam.
Registration will end on July 13. There is a total quota of 2,86,680.
Update: Amarnath Yatra 2009 registration will begin on May 20, 2009 in 110 designated branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank all over India.
