Couplets or Dohas of Kabir Das

No meditation equals truth,
Equal to falsehood there's no sin;
In whoever's heart lies the truth,
Know it's that heart where God dwells in.Dying, dying, the world keeps dying,
but none knows how to die.
No one dies in such a way
that he won't die again.Maya is the Lamp, man is the moth,
circling around the flame, he falls:
thanks to the Guru's wisdom,
a few are saved.The wretched people slander,
for they have not found wisdom.
But those who are drunk with the Liquor of Ram
have taste of nothing else!
