When a Hindu climbs up the ladder of knowledge, the concept of gods and goddesses begins to vanish and he/she will finally merge with the Brahman. So, in reality, there are no gods and goddesses in Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism. This is because the gods, goddesses and devotee all merge into the Brahman. Yes, this is hard to digest for an ordinary human being.
For an average human being, god is someone who helps to climb that extra yard. Who helps when in pain. Who helps to pass examinations. Who helps to get promotions. And who helps in all the desires that arise in the mind of a human being. So he/she cannot easily understand the concept of Brahman.
He/She needs something to concentrate upon and something to express the desires and the
numerous gods and goddesses in the form of idols and images serve the purpose of concentration.
In the words of Sir C P Ramaswamy Iyer “Hinduism has recognized different stages of evolutionary progress in the case of several races and classes of mankind and has not only authorized but actually encouraged the adoration of pictures and images as a means of concentration.”
Thousands of years ago Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism flourished in an
Take a look at the three main deities in Hinduism – Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Brahma creates, Vishnu sustains and Shiva destroys. They are nothing but three different faces of Mother Nature. Nature creates, nature sustains and nature destroys.
Each god and goddess in Hinduism is a path to reach the ultimate reality. If you are not happy with the 330 million, create a new god and pray to it. This new god will be a new path to merge with the Brahman.

All animate and inanimate and that is beyond your imagination is Brahman. All is Brahman. So what does is it matter if it is 330 million or more or less. About the 330 million number you can read here - www.hindu-blog.com/2008/05/330-million-gods-in-hindu-religion.html
hello, u r doing gud job. i came across ur blog today.......interesting..can u send me the 330 million God photo (larger size image)
Hello,
I've just found your hindu-blog site today and found many of the articles interesting. You are helping to dismiss many Hindu myths and I enjoy the comments you receive, because they show a range of attitudes of the Hindu (Sanatan Dharma) faith followers.
But in my opinion, the article named 'Hindu Gods and Goddesses' is not accordance with the Vedic scriptures, especially the Bhagavad-Gita. I took offence towards the end of the article, particularly this part:
"Each god and goddess in Hinduism is a path to reach the ultimate reality. If you are not happy with the 330 million, create a new god and pray to it. This new god will be a new path to merge with the Brahman."
Firstly, it is a common myth that "each god/godess is a path to the ultimate reality" - in the Gita Lord Krishna instructs Arjuna many times about the difference between worshipping the Devi/Devtas (Lord Ganesh, Durga Mata, Lord Shiva, etc) and worshipping the Supreme Lord (Krishna/Narayana):
"Those who are devotees of other gods and who worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O son of Kuntī, but they do so in a wrong way."- Gita Chap 9 text 23.
Here Lord Krishna is telling Arujana that people that worship the demi-gods they are infact worshipping Lord Krishna, so you may think that "yes I can worship any Devi/Devta and this is just the same path as worshipping the Supreme Lord Krishna" but in fact Lord Krishna also says that "Because the devotees are indirectly worshiping Me they are worshipping me in a wrong way".
Also Lord Krishna goes on to say: "Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship the ancestors go to the ancestors; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; and those who worship Me will live with Me." - Gita Chap 9 text 25
So the results obtained by worshipping the demi-gods and worshipping Lord Krishna alone are different. The planets of the demi-gods are temporary - so if one goes there after death he will still have to return to this material world (Earth) once ones pious activities are finished. But Lord Krishna's abode (Vaikuntha/Goloka Vrindadvan) are eternal and once one attains there they do not return:
"Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet." - Gita Chap 7 text 23
Also your comments: "If you are not happy with the 330 million, create a new god and pray to it. This new god will be a new path to merge with the Brahman" this is absolutely ridicules. How can you just create a 'new' god? Is our Santana Dharma so cheap? The deities in the temple (Radha-Krishna, Sita-Ram) are carved according to the descriptions of how God looks (described in the Vedic scriptures) - they are not just 'made up'. Once they are installed into the temple and worshipped they are 'non-different' to the Supreme Lord. So you cannot just 'invent' your own image of god.
Below Lord Krishna speaks of the importance of meditating on the form of Lord Krishna - he does NOT say "meditate on any form or make your own form up".
"Therefore, Arjuna, you should always think of Me in the form of Kṛṣṇa and at the same time carry out your prescribed duty of fighting. With your activities dedicated to Me and your mind and intelligence fixed on Me, you will attain Me without doubt." Bgita chap 8 text 7.
I hope these explaniations - based on the Gita - help to dismiss any misconceptions.
All the best,
Pritesh
All animate and inanimate is Brahman …. Krishna does not exist outside….creation and destruction is Brahman….All debates take place when Krishna is outside...Krishna lies within us...
Brahman is indestructible and eternally existing, and its constitution is not changed at any time. But beyond Brahman there is Parabrahman. Brahman refers to the living entity, and Parabrahman refers to the Supreme Personality of Godhead (Lord Krishna). In Vedic literature the living entity is called jīvātmā and Brahman, but he is never called Parabrahman. That is the differnce between us and God. But Krishna is also within our hearts as Paramatma but this does not mean that we are God or even on the same level.
Also - the painting shown with this article is showing Lord Krishna displaying his universal form to Arjuna during his Bhagavad Gita conversation. Lord Krishna is showing that everything is within Him and that nothing is greater than Him. Lord Krishna then goes on to say that his original form of Krishna is superior to that of the Universal form.
wonderful, it was worth visting your website(blog), you have provided a lot of information. I really appreciate you effort and service. will be in touch with you, after reading all the articles. btw is it possible to provide the larger ver of the photo :-)

I WANT TO ASK WHO IS PERBRAHM IS THAT LORD KRISHNA
Got one doubt regarding Balaram, brother of Krishna (is he the avathar of Vishnu ? )
If thats the case, dint Kamsa kill him ?
Or is it like, he was the first son of Vasudev ?
Total confusion
Sri Balram is not avthar of Vishnu. He is brother of Vishnu. He is the 7th son of Devki and Vasudev in jail. The fact of the matter is, when Balram was in Devki's womb, he was transferred from Devki's womb to Rohini's womb (of course through Maya). Since Devki's womb was transferred, Kamsa could not even come to know about the fact that Balaram was born and thats why he could not kill him. Hope your confusion clears.
Whatever you call all are part of one divine power 'the ultimate'.If everyone understands that then there would not be religious clashes.
all the 330 divine beings are demigods and there is only one god and that is krishna
Absolutely true..But there is one thing which I have heard of...don't know if its true or false but this is what I have heard and also believed so would like to share it with you. I am into Media for 4 years now. I was working with a TV Production House 'Creative Eye' which was producing a Mythological show titled 'Jai Ma Vaishnav Devi' for 9X Channel. I was the Associate Creative Head on the show. We had shown that 'Shtishti Rachna' or 'Creation of Universe' was by a power called SHAKTI. This was the only living entity and it was a Female. There was nothing on earth but only water. This power used to travel by water. Once it realised that it needs a companion and that can help in the creation of many more entities. The power created a 'PIND' or a small rocklike shapeless structure. SHAKTI concentrated all her energy into the PIND. a Young Boy emerged 'Satva' from the PIND. Shakti expressed her desire to create life in association with Satva. Satva refused saying "since you have created me, I happen to be your son, so please forgive me for disobeying you". SHAKTI got furious and with her power burnt the boy into ashes. Sometime later, she again created another pind. A young Boy emerged. He was Raj. SHAKTI again expressed her desire to create life with him. He too refused giving the same reason as Satva did. Shakti turned aggressive. Raj pacified her and told her that she shall immolate but before doing so he would like to tell her that if she creates Tama from her power, he would accept her proposal. Raj immolates. Now SHAKTI creates Tama and he accpets her proposal to create the Universe but puts across a condition. He tells her to show her power by emerging and taking a shape. SHAKTI agrees. Now she takes her ful form- seated on a lion's back, her ten arms equipped with weapons, she is SHAKTI. She is none but Vaishnavi/Vaisho Devi, the mother/creator of the Universe. The reason she is called Vaishno inspit of being Shiva (Tama's wife) is because it was on Raj (Vishnu's) advice that she created Tama(Shiva) and in turn created herself. Satva is none but Brahma. SHAKTI handsover all her power to SHIVA and authorizes him as the SUPREME LEADER of the UNIVERSE. She also tells him that she would take birth as a human and get married to him. This form of SHAKTI is Sati. She also took birth as Parvati. SHAKTI also tells Shiva that she would forget the entire episode of being the ulitmate power unless being reminded by someone so that she does not have any 'aham' or pride in being the supreme power. Shiva then reinstates power in the two pindis from which Satva and Raj had emerged, thus giving Brahma and Vishnu to the Universe. Saraswati and Lakshmi also emerge from the two Pindis. SHIVA, BRAHMA & VISHNU are called TRIDEV and DURGA/SHAKTI, SARASWATI & LAKSHMI are called TRIDEVI.
Awaiting a Feedback.
Yes Gayatriji, there are numerous such incidents mentioned in the Puranas and in regional folklore. The Supreme Soul that we Hindus worship is Brahman. It is referred as That. Neither male nor female. It is all that is animate and inanimate. Creation happens at its will....
Now humans who are worshipers of Shakti assume Brahman to female and think in that way.
But if you are able to decipher the truth you will realize that all these attempts are human efforts to give proper definition to creation but they don't realize that defining Brahman and its activities is beyond human power.
if that the case then why do we have specific days assigned for each og the forms of God/Supreme Power/Brahman? God's like Ganesha and Krishna...are they mere imagination? I don't think so...They are a PART of the WHOLE but they do exist...else Hindus across the world would'nt be building temples for specific deities for worshipping...Like Ganesha is gold Vigna Harta or the remover of all obstacles..so it means that he is the God for removing all troubles in our life.
i feel gayatri has not understood the point...there is Ganesha, Krishna and other gods...they all are manifestations of Brahman who is worshiped in different forms and names....and this is the beauty of Hinduism...to worship a personal god in the form you best can identify with....
Thanks
Vinod Sharma
Dear Vinod, I did thououghly understand the concept of Brahman and all its manifestations....the reason I was talking about the individual Gods was to ask if the stories that we hear from various sources were just a myth...as I would not call them myths because they must have happened sometime for sure.
I want top say madam gayatri that what she has heard is wrong. No authentic hindu scripture agrees with what you have said. There are many theories about the supreme gad and origin of universe in hindu scriptutres but no one tells what you have said.you should refer authentic hindu scriptures regarding this matter. For your information I would like to say that Vaishno devi was an incarnation of devis in tretayug who was a great bhakta of lord Vishnu.A the time of incarnation of lord Vishnu in the form of lord Ram ,she started doing tapsya to get lord Ram as husband as lord Vishnu had promised her.But lord Ram refused to marry her as he had decided to marry only once during lifetime. But he said her in Kakyug during Kalki avatar he would marry her.he said her to stay on trikuta mountain upto that time.He said that she would be known as Vaishno devi as she would spread vaishnav dharma on earth.he told her that Hanumana would stay on trikuta for her protection. So Hanumana is still on tiikuta as her protector.
Gayatri - there are many 'stories' and pasttimes (lilas) around of the devi and devtas of hinduism - you will find many at each temple in India - but you have take them with a pinch of salt. But we must look at the authorised scriptures to find the truth... scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita & Srimad Bhagavatam - these two are specific for Kali yuga (as they have been written most recently - 5000 years ago and are the essence of the Vedic scriptures specically made for people of Kali yuga) These scriptures are authorised because Gita is spoken by Lord Krishna and Srimad Bhagavatam is written by Vyasadeva. These contain the truth passed down by the Lord. We should not 'speculate' like 'Oh I have heard this from my friend', otherwise we will misunderstand and be cheated.
Hi, Congratulations to the site owner for this marvelous work you've done. It has lots of useful and interesting data.
Hello there, first our histyory was oral, then it was written. someplaces it continued to be oral, there are no authorised scriptures thank you. there never were as such. Sermons as given in the Gita were for the benifit of the less enlightened and there were many different interpretations, perodically they were collated by great men & saints in an effort to revive Hinduism. To all this confusion were added the tribal conflicts both physical and philosophical net result is a belief system we follow. In my effort to understand what i practice I have studied long and hard and found that there was in existance something before vedic scriptures came into existence and that all such scriptures over time were influcenced by conquerers to lesser or greater degrees. In short these discussions only allow us to interpret as per our own limitations, however the definition of a limitless divine BRHAMA cannot be done by a limited measurment tools (i.e. me) so I see only what my limitations allow me to see and if I insist that this view is only correct I will be like the blind men in the story where they described the elephant.

There a huge number of gods and goddesses. They are male, female, non-human and supernatural. In the main most deities are human with human qualities that can be related to. The process of deification occurs all the time. A deity can be a human who has exhibited supernatural powers, great insight, wisdom, care and compassion, instruction etc. All the religions have deified personalities not just from the better known ones but also the saints that have emerged from those traditions of the better known personalities who themselves have given teaching, undergone penance and austerities, and performed tasks that delight the followers. This process is continuous.
From the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (considered the oldest of the Upanishads):
This self was indeed Brahman in the beginning. It knew itself only as "I am Brahman." Therefore it became all.
And whoever among the gods had this enlightenment, also became That Brahman. It is the same with the seers (rishis), the same with men. The seer Vamadeva, having realized this self as That, came to know: "I was Manu and the sun." And to this day, whoever in a like manner knows the self as "I am Brahman," becomes all this universe. Even the gods cannot prevent his becoming this, for he has become their Self. Now, if a man worships another deity, thinking: "He is one and I am another," he does not know. He is like an animal to the gods. As many animals serve a man, so does each man serve the gods. Even if one animal is taken away, it causes anguish to the owner; how much more so when many are taken away! Therefore it is not pleasing to the gods that men should know this.
this specially with reference to gayatri and pritish- comments, that HARI ANANT HARI KATHA ANANTA, KAHIN SUNAHIN BAHU VIDHI SAB SANTA. So forms of hari are countless so are his stories and each and every story is again narrated by saints in different ways according to their pragya and bhavana. so one may found many many stories on sigle event differntly.
one may find kathas in which mahalaxmi,Ganesh, shiv, vishnu, brahma, surya and others were treated as creator of universe and the parambrahma. this is not for creating confusion but to emphasize on the fact that JA KI RAHI BHAVNA JAISI HARI MURAT DEKHI TIN TAISI. So bhavna is main important thing. Also in gita what refered by the krishna is not that you worship krishna, the devikisut but the supreme nirankar nirgun swaroop by being nishkam and tatvadarshi and by demigods his reference is for sagun and sakaam bhakti

interesting post.
Yes all is actually worshiping one supreme that is braham.
I have not read Mad Bahagwat Geeta but all other sect whether shaiv or sakat or vaishnav, all are telling to worship braham, sagun or nirgun.
In Devi mahtmyam, Mahalaxmi is presiding Goddess who creates MAHAKAlI and Mahasaraswati by her tamas and satav Guna. then they create trinity God with their consorts.
@Pritesh: I think u r bit confused by name. what ever may u call that parm braham is up to you. You call him Krishna ,it is ok. I call that ParamBrahamn as MahaLaxmi. it is ok for me so does others even if they are not understanding Hindu Philoshophy.
Ultimate aim is to worship that Param braham and HE is every where, he can take forms also and is without that also.
Basing upon the different versions of arguments, I should like to place before you my opinion. Primarily, one should know the way to understand oneself rather than making a probe in to the existence and/or non-existence of GOD. By the very name 'GOD' represents the 'Generator, Operator and Destroyer'. It is needless to make extraneous discussion as none can unravel the truth, but by self-examination only. Physiologically we are of molecular structure with pro-biotic as well as anti-biotic with anti-bodies components. Alike the whole physiological structure is functioning unitedly without break, we are destined to proceed with our work unstintedly without much bothering about the consequences and rewards. GOD is nowhere, as he is now here within you. The happiest man on this universe is the one whose self comes out of his cell maturedly and reaches the universe. Thus he becomes universal man to foster everyone is the same under the blessing of the Lord whom we can realize not to be discussed, as the taste of the sweet can be realized but cannot be expressed in its 100% terms to make others feel so. -Radhakrishnan, victory45srk@yahoo.co.in
Hi Guys i have a question. Is the sacrifice of goats for kali accepted in the vedas and scriptures?
Can anyone tell me how are some new devatas incorporated into the Hindu Pantheon. I read somewhere of new grama devatas ( village gods) coming on the lore and being worshipped.
@ New Devatas -- it is easy the Brahman that the Hindus worship is formless. But a devotee can imagine any form and perform worship. Hindu fold accepts this as the freedom of the devotee. It is the individual quest of the devotee that results in a new grama devata or village gods.
Hindu scriptures tell of one God that has many names. The Hindu teachings have become corrupted so that these names have become Gods.
"There is only one God, worship Him" (Rig Veda, Vol. 6, Hymn 45 vs 16 )
"Do not worship any one beside Him" (Rig Veda Bk. 8, Hymn 1, Vs 1)
"God is only one, - not a second"- (Chandogya Upanishad Ch. 6, Section 2, verse 1).
"na tasya pratima asti
"There is no image of Him." [Yajurveda 32:3]
YOU HAVE WRONGLY INTERPRETED THE NUMBER OF
HINDU GODS & GODDESSES AS 33 BILLION IN
NUMERALS . IT IS 33 'KOTI' . HERE 'KOTI'
DENOTES , NOT CRORES BUT HIERARCHY OR
LEVEL . JUST LIKE PRESIDENT OF INDIA AT
THE TOP & THE SWEEPER AT THE LOWEST
STRATA . CLEAR ?
THROUGH ONE'S OWN KARMA , A JAMADAR
CAN PROMOTE HIM TO THE POST OF PRESIDENT .
Yes I also agree that there are 330 million hindu gods but all are the form of shiva, brahma and vishnu. So whoever do you believe in, firstly have faith in yourself. This is the strongest power.
Very nice! I recently became very interested in Hinduism. I was raised a Christian and have been reading a lot of Gandhi's words of wisdom and the ideals of Hinduism. It feels good to be reduced to zero and then build myself up to be the good, loving person I always needed. http://fromillusiontoliberation.blogspot.com/

Dear all,
As per old vedic HINDU'S ALL THOSE CAN GIVE ARE CALLED DEVATA'S: MEAN'S WHO GIVES TO OTHER'S WISHES.SO THERE WERE MANY PEOPLE OR KINGS AND EVERY CITY OR ANY VILLAGE THERE WERE DEVATA'S ALLOWED IN LOCAL FORM ETC.
2. BUT LIKE ALL PLANETS REVOLVE AROUND ONE SUN, THEN ALL SUN AROUND GALAXIES,THEN GALAXIES ARE IN MILLION, SO EVEN 330 MILLION GOD'S WERE LESS.
YES ALL GOOD SOULS COME UNDER 330 MILLION AND REST ARE NORMAL LIVES.
NOW SHRI KRISHNA IS THE ONLY KNOWN GOD WHO HAS DEPICTED AND CLAIMED THAT I AM THE SUPREME. NOT ANY OTHER LIKE CHRIST OR PROPHET MOHAMMED OR ANY ONE ELSE EVEN IN HINDU'S.
SO WHEN HE IS EVOKED IN ANY FORM WHATEVER IT IS IT REACHES TO HIM. HE IS NOT ADDICTED TO ANY RELIGION AS MANY MUSLIM'S AND FEW CHRISTENS HAD HIS DIVINE PRESENCE FELT AND TO ADD AS PROOF
LETS TALK ABOUT MIRA BAI WHO WAS A RECENT BORN HUMAN BEING.
WHEN YOU LOSE ALL HOPES AND THERE IS NONE....ACTUALLY WHEN U LOSE ALL UR HOPES...THEN PRAY SINCERELY TO ANY GOD OR POWER
THAT WILL GUIDE YOU AND TAKE YOU OUT OF TROUBLES YOU SHOULD JUST HAVE A FAITH LIKE SACRIFICING ONE SELF TO SUPREME LORD WHO IS SHAPELESS AND OMNIPRESENT.HIS JUSTICE PREVAILS ALWAYS.
HINDU RELIGION JUST TEACH THAT AND NOTHING ELSE.
REST ALL ARE DISTORTIONS. SINCE THIS RELIGION ALLOW ALL INTERPRETATIONS THAT'S WHY SO MANY SELF STYLED GOD MEN AND GURU'S HAVE CROPPED UP.AND SPOILING THE ENTIRE SHOW OF WORLD'S GREATEST RELIGION.
Jay Dayal:
I do not necessarily agree with Capt JS Chauhan. Lord Sri Krishna did say that he is the Supreme Being but he did not say that other forms of Para Brahman are any less. As such, the Shaktas have a different approach towards Para Brahman, The Ultimate Truth/ The Supreme Personality. A Shakta studies Durga Saptashati/ Chandi Paath, Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran - which covers stories from Saraswat Kalp and amongst many other texts Tripura Rahasya and Devi Upanishad. In Devi Upanishad, the Mother Goddess explains that she is THAT which is Para Brahman and no different, both are one - Prakriti and Purusha are same, she also says that she is both knowledge and ignorance. She further says to the Gods including Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma:
"I am the five elements as also what is different from them. I am the entire world. I am the Veda as well as what is different from it. I am the unborn; I am the born. Below and above and around am I. She, here, is the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, She is the all-gods, (those) who drink Soma and (those) who do not; she is the goblins, the demons, the evil beings, the ghosts; she also, beings super-human, the semi-divine. She is Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. She is Prajapati, Indra and Manu. She is the planets, stars and luminous spheres. She is the divisions of time, and the form of primeval Time. Brahma and others know not Her essence; so is she called the Unknowable. She has no end; so is she called the Endless. She is not grasped and so is she called the Incomprehensible. Her birth is not known and so is she called the Unborn. She alone is present everywhere, and so is she called the One. She alone wears all forms, and so is she called the Many. For these reasons is she called the Unknowable, the Endless, the Incomprehensible, the Unknown, the One and the Many. The Goddess is the source of all mantras:
Of all the words the knowledge is Her form.
Her conscious Form transcends all cognitions;
She is the witness of all emptiness.
Beyond Her is nothing; renowned is She
As unapproachable; afeared of life,
I bow to the inaccessible One,
Bulwark against all sins; the Pilot who
Steers me across the sea of worldly life.
BUT WHY SHAKTI FAILED TO SAVE HER SON'S BEHEADING BY HER HUSBAND.SECONDLY SHE NEVER REVEALED HER TRUE SELF TO ANY ONE.THIRDLY SHE WAS ALSO ONE PART OF KRISHNA AS RADHA.SHRI KRISHNA CHANDRA MAHARAJ DISPLAYED THIS TO ARJUNA, A KNOWN FIGURE IN HISTORY.I DO BELIEVE IN SHAKTI,BUT NO OTHER FORM OF GOD EVER CLAIMED THAT THERE IS NO BODY ABOVE THEM!!!
Hindus believe in Brahman, the Absolute or the Universal Soul. It is immanent, within and about us, also transcendent, outside material existence, transcending Time and Space. It is Nirguna,or without shape or form, and without beginning or end. For us ordinary men and women, the Nirguna Brahman is impersonal and hard to comprehend. For us the concept of God has to be one with a form, a sort of Superior Being in human form on whom one can fix one's mind, especially during prayer and so the Saguna Brahman or Ishwara...excerpts from Hinduism, An Introduction by Shakunthala Jagannathan.
Yes this is the major good and bad thing that 330 millions god, thus the Hindu always are mis guided whom to worship. I believe first purify our inner heart and worship the ultimate goal GOD the Generator Operator and Destroyer. This will help us to get out of 84lakh yonis.

CHAIN OF COMMAND NEEDS TO BE FOLLOWED with different SPECIALIST'S GODS in their fields..DIRECT APPROACH WILL TAKE LONG TIME ....so we are use to visit various departments...SO ARE THESE GODS...That's the LOGIC !!!
Dear datta devotees,
I would like to know if there is a daily pooja ritual for SRI PADA SRIVALLABHA SWAMY with sankalpam, ashtottaram etc. Can you guide me?
murty
Namasthe,
Gayathri madam, there are several puranas in Hinduism. Each purana calims that the captioned lord is the supreme. To quote some of the puranas:Vishnu purana: Lord Vishnu is supreme,
Shiva/Shaiva Purana: Lord shiva is supreme,
Devi Purana: Shakthi (Godess)is supreme and so on.
As Lord Krishna has narrated, (Read Bhagavadgitha)
All salutations to any of the Gods goes unto him only that is Vishnu (Krishna). Whether one chooses right path or wrong path, they have to pass through the path they choose.
Vaishnov Devi is one such path and claiming supreme by the devotees of Vaishnov devi.
Serva Deva namaskarah Keshavam Prathigachathi.

I am looking for the picture of the vishwa viraat roop of shri hari vishnu which adorns this page of your blog. I had a very big and old frame of this picture which had always fascinated me since my childhood. We used to have this picture in our pooja room. However, it has gone old and I am looking for a big size of this picture again. Can someone please help me get this same picture, the biggest size possible? On the net or elsewhere?
ALL HINDU / NON -HINDU Pls lets not confuse the issue....According to HINDU SHASTRA...One has to do PUJA of only one GOD who is his / her ISSHT DEV/DEVI.....that is decided by the HOROSCOPE of individuals !!! Thats it..doing puja of many GODs will not be fruitful or helpful.
