Devotion can be a source of energy that can be relentless and upon which one can rely on as a comfort in uncertain moments.

Flood and drought are both harsh but better water management systems can offset disturbance in routine.

Life is in regular turmoil but moderation in most things gives balance.

A river is an untamed canal.

Goods can be transported on a river and a canal and commerical activities conducted upon them right up to the wharf and beyond into the hinterland.
