Ambhora Temple - Shiva Temple at Ambhora near Nagpur

Chaitanyesvara Temple, popularly known as Ambhora Temple, is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva and is located at Ambhora which is around 74 km east of Nagpur city. The shrine is also known as Harinath Temple.

The small but beautiful temple is noted for a red spiral structure and swayambhu Shivling. The shrine is located in a scenic spot.

The temple attracts maximum devotees during Shivratri. During Shravan month devotees queue up to perform water and milk abhishekam on the Shivling. The most auspicious day in the shrine is Monday.

Located nearby is the Samadhi sthal of Har Har Swami, a popular saint in the famous Bhakti Tradition in Maharashtra.
